OTR Card
The OTA (Over-The-Air) card is a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card for
GSM networks. This product is equipped with a unique technology that enables
dynamic downloading and management applications used by operators to deploy
value-added services. With OTA technology, files in theSIM card can be remotely
managed and STK (SIM Toolkit) applications downloaded dynamically. The OTA
(Over-The-Air) card is outstanding in many aspects e.g. ensuring data integrity,
smart efficient storage, support for speed enhancement, anti-cloning features
etc. By being highly secure, efficient and easy to manage, the The OTA (Over-The-Air)
card offers GSM operators the flexibility to opportunity to deploy a wide
range applications to mobile subscribers in a very ease and convenient manner.
Functional Description:
OTA card complies with the following international standards and requirements:
ISO/IEC 7816-1:1987,7816-2:1988,7816-3:1989
GSM 11.11 version 8.3.0 (Release 1999)
GSM 11.14 version 8.3.0 (Release 1999)
Implementation specification of Downloading Monternet SMS Services Menus
on STK SIM Over The Air
Implementation specification of Downloading Monternet SMS Services Menus
on STK SIM Over The Air (Phase 2)
OTA card also supports the following:
All GSM Phase 2+ STK card functions and RFM (Remote File Management).
Also capable of a variety of IOD (Information On Demand) and common STK
VAS (Value Added Services)
Special applications like Super Phonebook, Group SMS, Multi-IMSI, Enhanced
Phonebook, Personalized Menu, primary-Secondary Card and Mobile Banking
etc.
Support RFM (Remote File Management), STK menu dynamic downloading and
STK menu remote management
Various authentication algorithms like COMP128-V1, V2, V3, V0 (see note),
XOR. Proprietary algorithms defined by operator can also be downloaded
's unique cardACS (see note) security technology, authentication counter,
anti-cloning and cloning detection features. These features cause extreme
difficulty for hacking by cloning tools.
's unique cardSMM (see note) dynamic data storage and management technology,
which complements the OTA technology perfectly and intelligently.
Various popular encryption algorithms and data integrity mechanisms like
DES, 3DES, PBOC and MAC.
Note: V0 is an authentication
algorithm with enhanced security defined by China Mobile (CMCC).
CardACS: Our unique next-generation SIM card security technology.
CardDPS-II: Our unique second-generation data security technology which
intelligently prevents loss and damage of SIM data.
This prevents loss of data and prolongs the usuage lifespan of the SIM
card
CardSMM: Intelligent dynamic memory management technology that improves
the efficiency of OTA data storage space and increase the OTA data writing
and retrieval speed.
Technical Specifications:

Note: SIM supporting OP0 can run on proprietary OTA downloading system;
SIM supporting OP1can run on OTA (Phase 1) downloading system of China
Mobile;
SIM supporting OP2 can run on OTA (Phase 2) downloading system of China
Mobile.
Maximum usable space refers to the remaining space in the card after setting
ADN, SMS, and essential GSM files.
SIM of size 32K uses the ADN/SMS configuration of 100/20 records.
SIM of size larger than 32K uses the ADN/SMS configuration of 200/40 records.
Deployment Experience:
OTA card comes in a variety of EEPROM memory sizes and is suitable for
GSM operators who wish to rollout SIM cards using the convenience and
features of OTA services. Mobile-data services like information on demand,
mobile banking and location-based services provided by China Mobile and
China Unicom under their Monternet and M-Zone service brands have been
deployed with much success using 's OTA card.
